Ashton Gate: What a Venue!

The wonder that is above is Ashton Gate, the home ground of Bristol City FC. The ground was first used in 1904 against Bolton Wanderers, they spoiled the occasion, however, running out 4-3 winners against City. The ground has a capacity of somewhere around 22,000 at the moment, and plans are being drawn up for an extension to the Williams stand. ( closest to you in the picture).
